My name is Shiri Mina Magar, and I am a professional opera singer who has performed leading roles with companies including Oper Graz, Salzburger Landestheater, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, the Israeli Opera, and others.

After years of building my career: studying in the United States, joining a Young Artist Program, and performing professionally for over a decade, I truly believed I was standing right before a major breakthrough.
​
And then COVID arrived.
​
Overnight, one of my biggest opportunities disappeared.
I spent FOUR YEARS without a single opera production.
​
During that time, I also became a MOTHER.
​​
My Story

I kept singing.
I kept practicing.
But internally, I felt anxiety, uncertainty, emotional exhaustion,
and a growing fear that maybe my career had lost its momentum.

I realized that something had to change.
​
I wanted to understand how to LOVE the PATH itself:
the setbacks,
the rejection,
the uncertainty,
the slow unfolding of an artistic life.​​
​
So I began STUDYING: opera singers’ biographies, mindset, resilience, performance psychology, and personal growth.​​
​
I rebuilt my relationship with myself as an artist
and stopped waiting for external validation to define my worth or direction.
​
And within less than a year of that inner transformation, after four quiet years, I landed three new main-role opera contracts.
​
As I continue pursuing my own singing dreams, I also feel deeply called to support other singers in building careers rooted not only in artistry and ambition, but also in resilience, joy, confidence, and true connection.
​​After sharing my journey online, many singers began asking me for guidance and advice.
​
That is why I created the Shine YOUR Light Workshop -
a 90-minute interactive live session designed to help highly trained opera singers move beyond self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, and waiting for the next opportunity… and begin building real inner and professional momentum again.
